Hi, I’m Melanie Curran.

I started my creative consultancy, Brigid Arts, as a vehicle to help others write better. It’s clear to me that every person has a story to tell, regardless of their writing ability. Many people have a latent creativity and writing ability, but lack the structure and the permission to experiment with it. That’s where I come in. I am a natural guide throughout the writing process. People tell me that what I do with their words is magic.

I love that word, magic. Writing is an alchemy. That’s been my experience in my own work. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from the New School in Manhattan. I write extensively and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship for my creative non-fiction project. I’ve taught writing to college students and I’ve been published. I come to help others because writing and branding help me reach my goals as an artist. I want to give away what I know.

I love helping people express their unique point of view. I help you tell the story that’s been in your heart for ages or on your mind for weeks. Branding is storytelling with the purpose of selling something. I create websites that present your talents and products in terms that represent and ground you.

My work is getting the right words on the page. It’s getting the right website up and running. It’s putting the right branding strategy into your hands. My work is also helping clients express the truth of their uniqueness. For you are unique. You are creative. You need a champion to get your story out into the world. That’s where I come in.
