Melanie Beth Curran
I winced at the idea of marketing. Gross, I thought. Selling out, I thought. I didn’t know just how soothing a marketing plan could be for me. I resisted creating one until the last minute. I sat in my Brooklyn room in 2024, surrounded by my paintings and musical instruments, my colorful clothes and sheaves of writing, defeated. This has to be easier, I thought.
